Random thoughts before SpitzerTailgate leaves for Florida…
Hello Hokies! SpitzerTailgate is getting ready to head out of the cold weather into the great humidity of Florida!!!
It wasn’t surprising to see that Branden Ore was late for a practice and will not be playing in the 1st quarter of the Orange Bowl. Ore has suffered motivational issues his whole time at VT; including coming to summer workouts out of shape and leaving school due to academic probation. At least we get to see what we’ve wanted all year in the running backs position….”Put in Kenny Lewis!!”
Today and tomorrow’s bowl games should be a good glimpse into the future of the rest of the bowl games, including the BCS matchups. I will not say how many games I have won in my pool…but I will say; I’m doing worse than last year.
If you’re in Miami for the OB, and you know us; give us a call for the location of the SpitzerTailgate. OB will probably box us in somewhere, so the tailgate won’t be as comfortable as it normally is in Blacksburg. Bring some food/drinks.
