Dillard’s season derailed by injury
It has been announced by the Virginia Tech Athletic Department that Brandon Dillard ruptured his Achilles tendon and will be out for the entire 2008 football season. Dillard, whose position at flanker was a key position for the rebuilding Hokies this year, injured himself during “player organized passing drills.” I wonder if Beamer approves of these “player organized” meetings and practices. They probably contribute to more pain, than improvement.
Time will soon tell if Dillard’s absence from the gridiron will matter to the outcome of the Hokies’ season.
In other words, SpitzerTailgate.com is proud to be able to say that the Hokie football season is not too far away. Until then, WHOA! and….GO HOKIES!
